The Masterplan

February 2025 Interim drainage and landscaping works

After several months of messy exploration of the drainage issues where the old childcare centre was located, a quiet transformtion is occurring in the Garden.  Drainage works have mostly been completed and mitigated and we will show you a couple of the results so far and we will keep you updated.

  • A stunning river rock “river”.  Where once was paving rounding the corner of the building, the rock face wall that was prone to limited flooding has been turned into a different type of river.  A deep drainage pit has been dug and river rocks have been placed over the pit and a mound of mulch placed around it.  Larger pieces of sand stone have been placed around for decorative effect

  • A sandstone border will define the area.  Sandstone blocks are being placed alongside the sensory garden pathway to frame the new area.
